Throughout his career, John has managed hundreds of millions of dollars in funding and raised millions in tax credits, resulting in the creation of thousands of affordable housing units and the rehabilitation of 300 abandoned properties. John has also been instrumental in the asset management and repositioning of several Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) portfolios.
His innovative homeownership program has enabled hundreds of families to build significant wealth, contributing to increased economic stability in the region. As a two-time chair of the Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey, has played a crucial role in shaping housing policy and fostering local collaborations, making a meaningful impact on individuals and families.

Holding a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Design, Nayeon excels in Community Development and Affordable Housing. Her extensive expertise and practical experience give her a robust understanding of project dynamics. Nayeon seamlessly transitions between various roles, effectively addressing the unique needs of each initiative. Claire Williams joined Restrepo & Associates in 2025, motivated by the urgent demand for services that enable municipalities to achieve their affordable housing objectives. With a robust background in fair share planning from a prestigious firm, she brings considerable expertise and insight to her role. Claire excels in identifying development opportunities for municipalities, expertly managing projects, coordinating documentation, and securing necessary approvals and funding.
As a magna cum laude graduate in Urban and Regional Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, Claire is highly proficient in GIS mapping and has made significant contributions to planning initiatives across New Jersey. Her impactful work on transportation projects in Middlesex County has resulted in critical enhancements in bus and bike lane integration and overall bus services. Claire actively engages in county planning meetings, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping discussions around innovative project models, firmly establishing her commitment to advancing affordable housing in New Jersey.
